I just told you guys a story. Couple of them. Yeah. Couple stories. Logan, how are you doing? I'm doing good. Yeah. All right. I would dive into your dating life, but it's actually kind of boring, and I think we lose subscribers and listeners from that start. Is it boring, or have I just not told you anything? Oh, there we go. There we go. He's acting like he's dating everywhere. The term broken record comes to mind.

It's fine. I'll just keep it to myself. Big talk. Hey, John. So tell us, we gave away a rifle last week. Yes. At least right now. No, right now. Yeah. Like, so what was the deal? Everybody got a ticket in? So we had an early bird entry period, basically up until May 31st. Okay. And if you bought any tickets in our Summer Hunt giveaway, you got an entry. So for every ticket, you got an entry into the TS Customs gun giveaway. Basically, they'll build it to your preferences. Okay. So to be clear, though, we paid for this gun. We paid for this gun. So if you call TS, he might not even know what you're talking about. This is an epic. Let us call him first, but we're going to call this person next. Yes. And then after we tell him, we get to tell him, let us call TS. TS. Because honestly, I'm not very good at communicating. It was just an epic. It was one of our epic orders.

Imagine just a good dude calling. Say, I want a gun at Epic. Prove it. You owe me a gun. Travis is like, I don't owe you anything. I don't owe you for that. Or he's like, hey, I'll ship it tomorrow. Exactly. And then he gets a call from this guy. Then we get 14 dudes calling. Pretty soon, Travis is like, how many guns did you give away? Somebody owes me some money. I don't know. We gave a couple of 17s, HMRs, 22 RIMPAR. All right. So then, John, you put their name in the hat for once for every ticket they bought. Yep. And we have a winner, Patrick Jackson. Okay. So have you guys contacted him? No. No. We're going to call him on the podcast. We've done this before. It's one of our favorite. It is kind of fun. It is kind of fun. And this is a no-joke gun. It's over six grand. Just for the rifle. We're not talking the optic or anything else. Probably ought to have a bipod. I don't know.

I mean, he's going to be like, are you telling me about a draw? He's not even going to think, right? No. What do you mean? I don't know. Yeah.

Do you get a lot of worms? And if he's a felon. He's not going to answer. If he has any felonies. All right. Felonies are important. I mean, he might be a CVA guy. Yeah, you are. You are. Hard working sucker, probably. Either that or the wind's blowing so hard he can't hear his phone ringing. And anymore, I don't know about you guys, but when my phone's like in my pocket, I don't feel that vibrating. Yeah. But you got kids down there, college kids. I mean, they don't even have to have it on vibrate. They know it's. Well, they're because they're always looking at it. Yeah. I can feel it when somebody texts me. Do you remember when the old iPhone is? Kind of manifesting. Yeah. Manifest some hot chick right now. Texting. All right. Let's see your phone. It'll take 20 minutes to set in. Oh, 20 minutes. Yeah. So you could tell. So that, and they're going to hit you with a reply. That's right. And they'll reply fast, too. Hey, I'll pay you $50 if you text me and call me. I'll Venmo you $20. I'm going to delete this chat. You call me. What are you going to say, Devin?

I was just thinking about back in the day, the iPhones. You could turn it so the flashlight came on. I love that. Really? Vibrate, noise, flashing lights. Foghorn. I remember that. Do you remember it? It doesn't do that. There's not even an option. I don't think you can. I'll bet there's an app. Chat it up. It's probably happened at night with your phone sitting in there driving. It blinds you. Have night blinds. Somebody got wrecked. Somebody got wrecked. Somebody got sued. Millions of dollars later. Apple decided to settle out of court. We have no fun phones. Yeah. I liked it.

Well, hopefully he calls back. We didn't even leave a message. He just thinks you're a telemarketer. But anyway, we had a little bit of a flurry this last few days. It's kind of pretty awesome. I don't want to say letting up, but I'm going to say it. Letting up. Well, there's so many. We've got Arizona deadline today. When has there ever been more applications due? Within a three-day period of time. It feels like more. On top of two big states results. But I think last year sucked. We just forgot about it. It's been 12 months. I think so. I don't know. I mean, we didn't have the results on the same days, though. Nevada was early. Yeah, Nevada was early. Colorado. Nevada was always about what it is. But Colorado was also not a surprise. I don't know. Nevada was later, remember? A week later. This year it was. Yeah. And it just kind of all just, ugh. It was fun, though. Did you draw Nevada?

No. No. Silver State. Did you apply for some janky hunts that you thought you might draw? Pretty janky. You know what's interesting? Did you? Always. Maybe. I have three points. Because you got one or two points. Weird stuff. You know what I think is fun? Smoke hole. Clint called me and he was like, you know, for some reason I'm really excited about Nevada. But it's like terrible odds. I said, I know. I get the same way. Like, I really think I'm going to draw. When it's over, when it's over, I'm like, what was I thinking? Yeah. I really thought I had a chance. Anybody that believes in manifesting, that is just with five family members. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. And you're like, what was I thinking? What was I excited for? You know what it's like? It's like going to Nevada. So you're saying I have a chance.

And whatever game you play in a casino, in that moment you think, I could double my money right here. And then it hits whatever and you feel like a total idiot. I could hit this right now. I haven't done that in a long time, but I know that feeling. Four pulls later, Logie Bears two weeks paycheck is gone. I'm texting Jason for an advance. Tennis elbow gone. You've been moving my next three paychecks. Why don't you just hit the casino direct? Would you? Probably. Thanks. I would do anything you want. Just to keep me in. If it meant getting you home in one piece. You're an adult. I don't even have to ask your mom. No, you don't. You just ask me. Yeah. I'm the man of my own house. Isn't that nice? Yeah, it is nice. Yeah, you're in charge until you get married, boss. That's why I'm buying all my stuff now. This is a good plan. Hey, Logan hasn't spent any money recently. That's right.

And the other truck that you guys had? You bought a boat? From Jason? His dad. That was like two years ago, I think. They've been on Lake Powell. My brother and my dad split a boat. They've been on Lake Powell. They've caught more fish than they've ever caught. Paul. Paul. Took it on a maiden voyage, and it turned into the SS Minnow, and they brought a bunch of fish. No, they all went in. Partners. Nice. Logie Bear actually has a share in that. Do you have a steak? Oh, yeah. One third. I did some stuff like that with my family. Marshall Boats, LLC. Jeez. And why'd you do that? In case one of you drowns, and the other can't sue? The other two? So what percentage of the boat do you own, do you know?

33.3. I know, but. Yeah. He owns. No, it's just, it's all under my dad's name, and we just are trusting him not to. I would want the body of the boat, not the engine, because the engine is where all the problems have. That's true. That's your dad's third. Trusting. Third. Family relationships. Family partnerships. It sounds like a recipe for disaster. It was a disaster. We did some modifications to it, and that was a bad week in the Marshall household. But they worked, right? Oh, yeah. Wasn't it like a trolling motor? We mounted a remote-controlled trolling motor to the front and built a board platform and put a captain's chair on it so that you could just have a little bit more room to fish up front. And yeah, it works really good. It looks really nice, but. It was actually a really nice ski boat. Now it's jank.

If you'd have been there during the process, it would have tainted it for you like it did us. It was just. We got three big boars trying to do one project. It doesn't work out. It doesn't. It doesn't. Okay. I can't envision that. I see your dad, and he's a big boar. I don't know who the other person is, and then I see you. The biggest boar of all. Oh, my gosh. This guy. So, all right. What are we talking about today? Bronson, so we've had a lot of draw results come out. Anybody that drew a tag, we want to talk to them. Yeah, we've talked to a lot of happy people, you know, both Colorado and Nevada the last few days. And then we're getting to these last. I cannot believe the tags we drew in Colorado, but a lot were second choice archery elk. Remember the OTC for residents that are now limited draw for us. But you can draw a second choice in Gator Park. We pretty much knew that.

It would probably happen. Yeah. But now we're getting some data, years of data to compare against. Man, there was a lot. Over two, three years. There was pages and pages of bear. I mean, all kinds of stuff. PLOs. They better be eating those bears.

That's the one thing that turns me off there. And you were trying to tell me something about sushi having parasites? Dude. You want to talk about bear meat? We like sushi. I'm not sure. Tularemia. I'm not sure. I think. Well. It starts with a T. Tularemia might be the one rabbits get. I don't think that's it. Google that. It's something else. A bear parasite? Yeah. It's a bear. What's the most common parasite in bears? I can't remember what it's called. That's the last time I heard of someone dying from meat that was even frozen. It was bear. Trichinosis. Trichinosis. That's what it was. Trichinosis. It was a T. Tularemia is with rabbits. Look it up. That sounds really scary too. But I think. I always thought that sushi was good for you and all the omega-3s and everything. Janet tells me that's the most common way people get parasites. And heavy metals. Okay. But you also got to remember.

I need a cleanse. What is it? To the ruminous rabbits. Okay. Good. I have to prove that. You know what I mean? But Jason. How do you get rid of the parasites? How much of the world eats fish? A lot. A lot. It's the number one probably parasites. Okay. I think we do. Well, and depending on the country you're in, how well is that taken care of? It's like a muscle tissue of you right now. Or your gut tissue. One nice. One nice. Yeah. A little janky worm. Yeah. Worming around in you. That's why you drink certain things. Kill stuff. There's nothing that lives past these monsters. Right? Could be feeding them. Could be. Yeah. Vitamin B. Complex. It's a prenatal. You're probably right, Devin. Could be making worse. It causes those things to have a doubling effect every six hours. All right. After three days, you're moving. Anyway, good luck. Congrats to the guys that drew bear tags. Eat them up.

What else, Bronson? Geez, we had Nevada came out. That was good, huh, Devin? Yeah. We did a lot of referrals, talking to guys. Yeah, it was good. Adam, you talked to some guys. It was awesome. I had a good time with it. I love sharing in everybody's success like that. Just don't know why we can't have a little more success. It felt like a lot of people drew with sub-10 points just in the – There was seven after seven after seven. Seven was the number. Isn't that the number? Yeah, it was the number where Nevada randomness landed on the seventh. It's our phone number here. Yeah. Two, six, three, zero, seven, seven, seven. There you go. That's it. Think that's random? I just know if you have seven points or a factor of seven – Get ready. 14, 21, 28, 35. What's that? 21. I mean, we should go look. Another Vegas number. Make my point. We should go look at the licensed app service, remember?

Because there was multiple guys with seven. Just seven. Our guys, a lot of seven points, Drew. It was freaking me and Devin out there for a while. We had like three in a row, four in a row, and it was like – And then we had a nine and a ten. And then it kind of proved otherwise. Yeah, it proved otherwise. Yeah. But anyway, kind of fun. Then we got Wyoming out of the way yesterday for deer – Well, deer and antelope and resident elk. And then what? Montana antelope. Devin, are you going to be in Wyoming? Maybe. Unless it gets lucky. I like it. I like it. Jason, that question is off the table.

I like it. Today, after Arizona's over with, we're going to have a little breathing room. This is a big state. Big state. Last – I don't know. Call it hurrah. Idaho's lingering out there Friday. We got California and Arizona today. Yeah. Arizona. Arizona's kind of chill. We're doing good there. It's good. We're caught up and ready. We're ready for them to run to the draw. Let's run them. Right? Call them up. Tell them at midnight first. We still got Iowa, Idaho. Anybody that wants to apply in a non-point state, think about Idaho? I don't know. I applied. I've had several calls yesterday and today after Colorado and Nevada came out. People are like, I need something. Yeah. Looking at deer. So one good thing about being one of the last states right there. Well, it's kind of nice. You know, had an extra day. It's not a big deal, but it was enough to be two days after Nevada this year to have

Wyoming on Monday, and a lot of people waited until that. Yeah. To do that until Monday. So pretty awesome. We're expecting a pretty decent year. I think overall it'll be pretty decent, I would say. Seems like Arizona, people are categorizing moisture down in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, average, but I saw blooming that I haven't seen for a while. Where? Nevada. Oh, I thought you met on you and Devin's trip south through Arizona, New Mexico. We did take a trip. That might be a segue. Have we not talked about that trip? No. Just briefly. We talked about the sites. Oh, yeah, we did. We talked about that balloon that was like right in the middle of nowhere on the res that we thought was. The blimp. No, that little balloon that we thought was a drone. That may have been. That was weird. Yeah, that was weird. Devin were. Devin was headed to the strip to check his bunker. It could have been.

I can't explain it. It was weird. But it wasn't. It was like a balloon, but it was stationary. I thought it was a happy birthday balloon, but the tether on it would have had to be like 20 feet. Right? Yeah. 20 or 30 feet. Was it an actual balloon, though? Past it. Well, we didn't know. And it didn't move. Yeah, it didn't move. Our wind didn't move it. Nothing. Could not have been tied with fishing line. You just didn't see it. I could see a line, right? You could see a line. I was just focused. I mean, I'm driving. I'm going, Devin, what's that in front of us? He goes, what do you mean? And I'm like, no, it's like a drone. And we drove right past it. I mean, we're on the res. We're doing 85, 90 now. I don't know. I'd stop talking. We're blowing through. Stop talking. We're blowing through this res, and there are no vehicles. It could have been a drone.

Yeah, it kind of felt like it was a drone. Either a drone or balloon, but the balloon didn't move. I don't know. It was fine. We did fine. But anyway, Devin. Tell us about your trip, you guys. Let's talk about that trip. Go ahead. What were you going down there for? That was a long drive. Went to shop at the Prada store. We talked about that. We saw some weird stuff. What were you going down there for? Good friends of ours, Marty and Jared, invited us down. They've got a lease down there for Audad. It was pretty awesome of them. And yeah, we had a good time. I mean, it was a good time. I thought it was, we kind of hit it a little bit off. Like, they roam a lot. I mean, what do we know? The other thing, this was in March when I went with you. Yes. And it was the heat wave. Oh, yeah. It was in the high 80s here. Down there, it was in the high, mid to high 90s. And it felt like 106 or 116.

I remember that. Devin took a 200-yard hike when you were kind of stalking around. Twice. And he came back and he was like, oh, it was no joke. Remember we had one in February, too? It's when I went to Mexico. Yeah. It was the same thing. And I'm like, when you feel that, when you jump out of where you're living and feel the first, call it 90 degree plus, it might as well be 110. Well, it would be like a doe in Region G coming down to Nevada or Southern Arizona. Waking up in the Arizona Strip. I mean, would they die? Maybe. Body fat, you know. They're dead. Husky gal. She's dead. She's toast. Yeah. They just. Overheat. Yeah. And those people that live in, let's call it Moapa, Vegas, Henderson, all that, they're just built different down there. I mean, they can handle it in UNI. I mean, it takes a lot. They've acclimated.

I don't know if they were built different, but they've become acclimated. They do. It's so hot that when you laid down to shoot, the rocks burned you. Yeah. The rocks did burn you a little bit. Well, let's talk about the shooting. What do you mean? Proned out. There I was. So, here we go. So, yeah, Devin, we did. So, yeah. What I like about Devin, he likes to kill stuff. That's what we're there for. We all like to do that. It was fun. It was fun. And it was like, you know how Devin, I mean, everything's a new adventure. The drone on the highway was a new adventure. Seeing the border with all the razor wire was a new adventure. Everywhere we ate was a new adventure. It's part of the whole thing. Yeah. And anyway, so. So, this was a new adventure. I mean, it didn't. Hops, jumps, flies, it dies. If it's legal, I'm thinking about it. I mean, it was pretty fun. It was pretty fun.

We saw two rams right off the bat. We split up. I was with Marty. You were Jared. Yeah. And, dude, I'm like, I thought, we're going to hike. I was like, we're just going to get on that rock and kill them. They went up and over the top of this. Two good rams. Two good rams. Like, no question. And I was excited because Marty was excited. I mean, I don't really know what I'm looking at. You're right. Good to me. We hide the truck behind a bush and I ranged him. I think it was like seven. Should have shot one. I should have just. Yeah, there wasn't. There was a little bit of wind, but I'm like, dude, it looked like it was 1,800. If I would have guessed, I would have said they're probably over 1,000, 1,300 yards. They have like, they call it a poor man's sheep hunt. So you kind of have this respect for them, which. Do you? You don't even need a tag for them. Do you have to eat them?

You don't have to eat them. You know this. Like, you don't have to do anything. Just a hunting license. Well, okay. And the hunting license allows you to. I mean. That's just to be the one in the state. You're limited in number on a javelina. And you can kill as many barberries as you want. They're introduced. That's why. Females. Either way. Kids. I'm like, there's a perfect rock pile, 300 yards. We're going to be at 400. Yeah, no big deal. We take off. They can't get away either. This is a big, deep ravine. Big, deep canyon. And they have to climb out. You will see them. The bottom, you think you're going to see them. But I think they were. I've never hunted them. So I didn't know. Like, they clearly saw the truck and heard us. When we glassed them, they were coming around the other way. And they did a full 180 and went back. Which, that's not a natural movement.

We had to have caused it. So they knew we were there. But when I last saw them. But they can't get away. They were standing on their hind legs, eating out of one of those Joshua, or those prickly. Is it a Joshua kind of plant thing? I don't know what it is. So I'm like, they're just feeding. We get up there to the top, peek around the rock. Can't find them. Go on. And the sun, we did. I knew we had to beat the sun. It was going to be in our eyes. And we just barely missed it. But either way, never saw them again. Yeah. They're telling us about them. And we're like looking on our side of the mountain for them. We see nothing. Nobody sees nothing. There was enough contour and thick trees. They could have just picked the right line and got away. But never saw them again. Yeah. I was like, wow, this is harder than you think. But then when you're out there in the field, when you're out there,

you see these beds under this tree. And when you're standing in their beds, you look around. You're like, you can't see this from anywhere. And it happened multiple times. It was like, wow. You start to gain a respect for them. Like, they're smart critters, man. Yeah. And you'll see one. And you realize there's six of them standing under or bedded under a tree. When they're bedded under there, well, they got big, tall, yellow grass. And they just blend in. And so when you see one, you start looking. And you're like, there's like a dozen under there. Really? Multiple times. Multiple times. But anyway, we hit it just felt like wrong. And I think it was mostly the heat. And it could be nomadic. Sometimes they'll be like, man, we've got a whole group of really solid rams. And then the other times, you're fighting to find a mature ram. And so anyway, dealt with that quite a bit.

But then Devin got on a really nice ram, went up there, tried to make it happen. I'm going to let you dive in on this story right now. Once again, I was like, I'm not going to shoot it 900 yards. There was quite a bit of wind. And so I took off. It was super steep. And I just went as fast as I could. He actually was standing on the very top of this giant rock. And by the time I got up there, he was bedded. I mean, on top of rock. Yeah, like dead. And I remember the one ram below him was looking. I'm at like 500. I can't remember, 500 or 600. He's looking right at me. And I know that I'm not really, it's not the best shooting place, platform. But I got level. And then I was like worried about the bushes and the grasses. Because you're low. And I'm on a side hill. And I thought I was good. So you can tell where this story is going. Oh, yeah, I shoot. Nothing happens. I have no idea.

We never saw in the video where the bullet hit. No, and we were back there looking. And we're like, they ran away.

It was one of those times like, poof, everything. I mean, I watched. I saw it. Everything in the scope. He never left the scope after I shot. Had to go high and over. I think it hit those little green, what are they called? The pokey cat claw. 50 yards in front of you? Cat claw. Probably 20 feet in front of you. Close in front of you. Yeah. And he was then. Bullet tumbling. Either way, I missed. Yeah. No idea. No. So then. So drive around the other side. Well, they ran away. Well, they took off. And Jared and I were like, do we ask him how it's going? I mean, it was kind of weird. And then we got the little man coming off the hill in 100 degree weather. Lathered up. Yeah. And we were like, this is not good. Yeah, you guys disappeared. Yes. He's not waving you up. We went around the other side. We knew they were going over here, so to speak. Yeah. On the back side.

And we were like, we're going to go around the back side and we're just going to chill. Glass. Do our thing. Maybe. And maybe help you out. But we didn't want to get in your way. You know what I mean? And so then you gathered your crap up, got in the truck, and went around to get a better angle. Get a new angle. Where'd they go? Right? Yep. Go around and there they were. Just kind of hanging out. 250 yards. Yeah. Snuck out. So you got on the epic tripod. Yeah. And it was no joke. Yeah. Locked it in. Like it was no joke. I don't know. I don't feel bad about the shot. I know that I missed. The first time. It had to be. It was. There was so much grass and crap. Yeah. But it's a good lesson. I'd never actually dealt with that. Like you watched for it. I did. I've lost. I lost one. The bullet never hit the rock he was on.

But you know what everybody thinks when I tell the story that I lost one? That I'm just making excuses. Oh, yeah. It's true. And it runs through my mind with you a little bit. I would. You know what we should do? That's fine. But we should try that. We should go to the range and find some grass and prone out and see what it does. We should. And video it. Anyways. So. Yeah. Set up on the epic tripod. He was standing under a seer with like seven others I think there was. Yeah. And it was just a matter of time. They kind of like shove each other in the shade. Like they're just like. Well, yours had his eye poked out. Yeah. Come to find out he had one eye. Yeah. And then it was a dry socket. And his forehead had that. They always have that weird spot right there. But his was like. He was a fighter. The bone was bruised or whatever. He'd been bullied. He got his body. Hard life. He was young.

But anyways, yeah. He eventually came out of the shade. Yeah. Killed it. Pretty awesome. It was fun. So then. And then we just kind of kept after it a little bit. But we had pretty much hunted out the place. And it just. There was not. It just felt like we weren't in them. I don't know. And I was like. Well. We'd seen. I felt like we didn't miss much. Yeah. Although. You never know. It's 95 degrees and they're in the shade. It's tough to find them. So then we left. We came home. Went back to work in April. And then one last ditch effort. I took my boys down. Sean and Colton. For a last ditch effort. Made that drive again. Didn't see a drone. How many miles did you put on that? I don't know. A lot. It's a. What is it? A thousand? What was it? Each way. 16 something hours. 16 and a half hours. Yeah. So anyway. Drove our guts out. Got there. Did the same kind of routine. But it was just.

It was just. Felt like you were in a different place. It was just an awesome experience. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was just different. We've seen more of them, right? Oh. No. Huh? No. Like on this particular place. It's like. They just. They. You see less and less. And I guess they leave for the summer. Well. We're. I didn't know all that necessarily. You know. It was just. Anyway. But that was the last kind of weekend. They were going to hunt. We were going to hunt. And so. Anyway. We had. Opportunity to harvest too. Thanks to these guys. And. It was. It was awesome. It was an awesome experience. My kids. That's your boys. Dude. Texas is made for my boys. I mean. It was. They were like. Wide eyed and drooling. You know what I mean. It was. Like. If you see it. All you got to tell them is. White tail deer. Mule deer. What? Antelope. No. Off limits. No. The stuff you can't. Well. I mean. Elk.

Just for. Out of respect for the ranch. Because they weren't. Yeah. But I mean. But I mean. Yeah. Legally you're okay. Legally. But the ranch doesn't want you to shoot them. Because they want you. But like. White tail. We saw mule deer. Native deer. Yeah. Collared peckery. You got to stay away from those. Yeah. Can you imagine? You should be able to shoot as many javelinas as you want. You know what I mean. But no. You get two a year. Or whatever. So anyway. It was just an awesome experience. Got Sean. Got. Got. Got. Sean on one. And it was awesome. Back on the epic tripod. Just. I mean. Literally going down a road. Was he standing or sitting? Standing. Yeah. Well we. You know. I think. Just because of the truck and the movement. They're like. We're out. You know what I mean. And Sean's like. Stop. Stop. And he gets out. And I run up there with him. And Jared and I are both like.

Shoot that ramp. You know. You don't have to tell Sean twice. You know what I mean. I mean. It was already one jacked in. And probably squeezing. When he said that. He's a killer. And anyway. Let's go there. But it would. It was foggy in the morning. We were going to hit that at the crack of daylight. It was like foggy. We couldn't even see like 200 yards. Huge difference from. Yeah. Yeah. Fog. Like. Like. Moist. By the time it cleared off. It was like everything was bedded. So we were kind of dealing with that. Anyway. This is toward the end of the day. Sean had killed one. And then. I would. We had glass. Glass. Glass. Where we never see sheep. Where we never see them. And we were just like. We're just trying to wait for the prime time. You only have two prime times in a day. Right. And so you're like. Prime time. Let's go up through. This place. And just see if we don't get lucky. Anyway. And I'm like. Man. I've driven all night. Driven all night. Driven. Driven. Driven. And everything. And I was like. I'm going to lay in the shade. You know. Jared's like.

Across this canyon. He got up to feet. About the time we got up there. And. Across this canyon. Major canyon. Was like 90 yards. 90? Yeah. 90. Across from. Rim to rim. Hmm. I mean. It's how steep. Kind of steep. And. I mean. It's a legit canyon. But it's 90 yards across. He comes out toward the edge. I'm like. Holy crap. Anyway. Colton's got it. Got it on a bipod. But you know how you're kind of half kneeling. Half standing. Just in this weird. And you got to make it now. And I'm just like. Slap it. Yeah. Kind of thing. Slap it. And let's pray. You know what I mean? And. And yeah. He's hammered him. Went. And he ran across the. Across the shelf. Right there at the edge of the canyon.

Hit him again. And then he. And he dropped him. Thought he was going to roll right off. But he didn't. Anyway. Went up there. It was awesome. It's such a great ram. It's total luck. That's the way it works. Where was he when we were hunting? Who knows? He could have been in the same bush. Come to find out. He had a bullet hole through the horn. And a little bit of a wound. Like up front. Like right in his brisket. Or just right up front. And we kind of cut out some of that green pus. And some of that. Well anyway. Marty's boy. Had one in a cave. That they had shot at. Once. And it went through. Had to be this horn. And blew up on the rock. They went up there. And there was blood. Well that's from the wound up front. That was now healing. Who knows what the wound was from? These things are hard on each other. Plus the game. They got me. Just the country. Just everything pokes you.

Stick shit. One had one eye. Mine had one eye. Yeah. There's just a lot of. Anyway. It was interesting. And so it had to be the same ram. And just to put those pieces together. They knew it was a big ram back then. They were blown away. And it is. It is. It's got almost 13 inch bases. Like 12 and three quarter inch bases. And 31 and seven eighths long. Or 32 inches long. But just packs the mass. Just packs the mass around. Good ram. Yeah. It was just. You know. And so anyway. Just a lucky thing. And that was it. I think. I. I mean that was the end of it. Like there was no other tag. Or no other option. I would just assume my boys kill. Devin. You and I had a blast. It was. It was awesome. Just awesome. Thanks for inviting me. If you want to get out of Michigan in the winter time. Lots of game. Or anywhere where it's cold. Lots of game. But just the whole experience was just really epic. It was fun. Yeah. It was. Anyway. So yeah. Anybody that wants to do it should do it. It also. When you look at the draw. It's in New Mexico. It makes you think. We should absolutely go to Texas every time. Why even apply? It's hard to draw. You know what I mean? A 2930 or a Greger or something like that. It's hard to draw. Even in the guide draw. They're fairly difficult. Yeah. And then you maybe. Then you got to pay. You're going to pay anyway. Half the price of Texas. You're going to go for a guide anyway. You're not supposed to it. Yeah. You know. Just in your tag. Just in your tag. Yeah. So anyway. He drew something incredible down south. He wants to push it off a year. Or you know somebody. Whether it's money problems. Or maybe they blow a knee out. Whatever. Or you know whatever. Or maybe an outfitter. Or landowner gets an extra landowner tag or two. Than they weren't expecting. You know. Whether that be Colorado. New Mexico. Stuff like that.

States where they give those. That can happen. So yeah. It's that time of year. That if you want. You want Devin to keep you. Keep you apprised of stuff like that. Give him a call. You know. Even. Number one, Devin's pretty good at keeping our guided hunt list updated on the web. And that's a feature built right into the app. You can tap right here on guided hunts. Devin's got discount hunts, featured hunts, and then categorized by species.

And you can see Devin's liking a Mexico mule deer, Alaska brown bear, some moose, mountain goat. Yeah. That's the first place they go if they're discounted. So you could check that. Yep. On your phone, it's going to be nice. You check it. Yeah. If you're looking for something, eventually you'll be able to set alerts. So the minute Devin updates it, you'll be the first to know about whatever you're looking for. Secondly, talking about Nevada, Nevada results, and Nevada odds, we built an odds simulator into our Nevada results section on the app. And so it's pretty sweet. I think it's one of John's favorite tools. He plays it a lot. It's a little bit addicting. A simulator? John's a born gambler. So do you like fake apply it? Yeah. Explain it. It's pretty cool. Bronson. Nevada odds are difficult to predict. Sometimes when the left brains meet the right brains. This will be a useful tool.

Sometimes Nevada odds are difficult to predict because it's a random bonus point. So it's technically completely random and you get an extra chance for every point you have squared. You actually squared them. Did you guys do that? Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Come on. I don't take half measures. And so. I'm not half what? Half A. The odds that show on the draw results are a little different because that's what actually happened. And so that's not always your true odds. I've never heard of this before. And so. We have that right now on our online odds. We have what happened. Yes. What the. And then what your actual odds. What the real mathematical probability. Yes. What do you want to call them. And so when you're applying. Yeah. You might not always base your applications off of what happened. You might be able to base it off of what could happen in your actual odds.

So if you went and did like a 231 archery tag. And you tell it you've got 15 points. And you hit simulate. It runs the draw odds 10,000 times. And then it'll tell you. How many? A 1.22% chance of drawing. And then tell us what the odds actually were. And then they actually were out of. And it'll be pretty close to realistic. How many points did you plug in? So I plugged in 15. And the real odds were 1.24. So 1.22 versus 1.24. Yeah. I feel much better. I like it. Yeah. I feel like I could draw. Okay. That one's not much different than the actual ones. But sometimes it helps you have a better idea for what your actual odds will be. And so. And you can do that multiple times as well. Yeah. Like just if you want to, you know, see. Okay. Well. So you're going to hit 1.22. 1.21. 1.23. Yeah. It'll vary slightly. It runs. You're never going to say. 100%. What? I'm a winner.

It runs it 10,000 times. So you're never going to get something that's outrageous or unpredictable. You're never going to get. The laws of averages. Exactly. So it'll always be pretty close to what actually happened. But. But the thing is you can do different units. Yeah. On every unit in Nevada. See how aggressive you want to get. Every unit. Let's say I want to get to where I get 5% or higher. All right. Just give me. Give me a species. What do you want? Mule deer? Yeah. Non-resident mule deer. Give me a unit. Oh, three, one. No. I'm going to give you the percentage. Oh, three, one. We'll go muzzleloader. Yeah. Wow. Now you're going to jump to 25%. Who wants that? We're going to hit you at 204. I don't know where that came from. Shotgun hunt. All right. Muzzleloader with 10 points on oh, three, one.

7% chance. 7.6. What were the actual odds?

3.8. Oh, no. Sorry. 10 points. Sorry. 7.8. So, yeah. It does make me feel a lot better. Actually, that was worse. Yeah. That one was worse. 7.6 versus 7.8. Yeah. And so, it's a nice tool. In some units, it's going to work better than others and give you better results than others because... I think it's for people that like this kind of stuff. It's kind of cool. There's a lot going on on the app. That's your point. You're illustrating that there's a lot within this app. Yeah. And we're building a lot of features to make you more accurate. Yeah. And it does show you, though, like, it's not as predictable in Nevada as it is in some other states. Colorado preference. Yeah. It just depends on, you know, the luck of the draw a little bit more in Nevada. And you can see that through the simulation. Going with probability more than odds. Yeah.

Squaring your points plus one, throwing that in the hat, dividing that by the total number of squared applicant names in the hat, and there's your... Yeah. And you can run that probability multiple times, and it's slightly different. Is there anything in our app that you would want from a Western hunting perspective that's not there? We are... And I guess this goes to, you know, when we're going to launch. But we're working on kind of a few of the last things, tightening it up. And the beta testers have been really helpful on that and seeing, you know, a couple of things that we need to tighten up. But, I mean, we're getting pretty dang close. We've had requests as recently as today. Yeah. Lunch. To watch your stuff. You know, you got the point tracker. You can put all your username, passwords, and state IDs, and point tracker in there.

And once that's in there, people want to just hit the button and have it apply you for all states and forget about deadlines. Why can't you do that, Logan? There's a couple of reasons. It's called two-factor authentication. What else? Yeah. I mean, we could do something where it shows you how to apply and we can track... It's not worth asking. Yeah. They want to hit a button, apply in eight states, and just go about... And do it for the next 10 years. Call me when I'm successful. Send me a notification when I draw. You know, and that's what our licensed application service does. But the problem with all of that is people change. They learn a little bit of something. Friends want them to go here or there. Whatever. You also have a different schedule. One year, you're hot to trot about hunting with a bow. Next year, you're busy in September, so you don't. But anyway, it would be nice.

But yeah, all the states... We had to explain that. I rarely apply the same as each year every year. No, states have a login, you know, all their security and all that. Captcha. Captcha. Captcha. Where's the bus? And it's like the bus is over the course of 75% of the squares. And then there's one little piece of bus on the outside edge. How about the people on the bikes? How do you think they feel? What? The bikes. No one gave permission to put their picture of them on a bike. Yeah. Good point. And if it's a... You know what? If it's a... I just thought of something. If it's a kid under 18, they're liable. You guys were taking a picture by a drone. You're used on Captcha Show. That drone in New Mexico was probably... That's how they do that. Find the truck.
